Just go for it, you learn a lot along the way ( I have) and what you don't know yourself you can ask, and gain a lot of contacts along the way. A very pleasant way to eat/sleep and drink warbirds.
One question:
Why oh why just another Spitfire instrument panel?
So many interesting aircraft designed over the years and I guess that there must be thousands of Spitfire instrument panels around the world nowadays. No wonder the flaplever, undercarriage indicator, trimgauge and early oxygen indicator are so rare (not to mention pricey).
