What an amazingly Spoooookyyyy coincidence !
There I was yesterday looking through my old Flypast collection,...well 1986 is as far as I got actually....but what did I find ?......
YES...the Catalina on Diego Garcia article from 1986 !!!
I haven't got time at the moment, but I will have a look later to see what it says about it.
The other spooky coincidence of course is the fact that B52's have just left for there today, according to Sky News anyway.
Tony mate, spooky coincidence No 3, there are a couple of Blenheim Mk V (5) wrecks to have a look at in Oman, somewhere on the coast, this was in a 1986 Flypast issue as well, I will have a look at that again later.
