Eric and all,
Interestingly it is not the HA.1112 that Dr. Bill owned... simply the engine (Merlin) and the other Buchon engine accessories that were on the airframe when Bill had it in his posession. In talking with Mr. Kindsvater yesterday (as he happened to call the office after he flew in formation with our '17 & '24 last week) I talked with him about the "deal" with Dr. Bill. He states that he has no idea about the fuselage and wings of the Buchon that Bill had, but he has the engine and other parts that were a trade for the ME-208. He was very open and honest about it and it actually was refreshing to get a straight answer from someone affiliated with the plane.
So that leaves the question, where is that Buchon airframe and furthermore, where is Spitfire TD135???
: Is this the Buchon that once belonged to Dr. Bill Anderson
: at Geneseo, New York?
