Texas has ALWAYS been Corsair Country!! Glad to have been born and raised there ;) Here are a few Corsairs that have been based in Texas over the years. These are all different aircraft.

1) Confederate Air Force (FG-1D)
2) John Stokes (FG-1D)
3) John Stokes (a second FG-1D - later went to Pardue)
4) Ralph Parker (F4U-5N)
5) Howard Pardue (F4U-4)
6) Howard Pardue (F4U-5N)
7) Buck Ridley (F4U-4)
8) Frank Arrufat (FG-1D)
9) Connie Edwards (F4U-4)
10) Robert Waltrip (FG-1D)
11) Jim Cavenaugh (F4U-4)
12) Glen Hyde (F4U-5N)

I'm sure there are a couple more, but that's off the top of my head. Lots of bent wing action over the years!
