Hi Nick,

The black Invader at FOF would appear to be A-26C-35-DT, N6838D (and spent some time as C-FMSB). Joe Baugher's site states she was loaned to the French in 1954 for service in Indochina, and returned to USAF in Oct. '55.

Type in "Morane-Saulnier" into the FAA site and it spits out N230MS, a Morane-Saulnier 230, serial number 1049, registered to one Kermit Weeks. Don't know for sure if this is your mystery French bird, but I suppose it's a start.

As for the "mystery rudder" at Reilly's, if the stencilled "493392" relates to USAF 49-3392, then it would appear to come from T-6G, N104DC, which is registered to a co-owner in Kissimmee.

For all it's worth...
Dan
