OK... Heading out of Kingston on old highway #2 from the downtown. After your cross the bridges where the start of the Rideau system is you will come to a traffic light. This is right between the two parts of RMC. Turn left at the lights and find your way to the other side of the arena. You can't miss it. It is at ground level displayed on it's gear.

If you are coming from highway 401, exit at old highway 15 and travel south towards Kingston. When you get to old highway 2, turn right and travel down the hill. You will they come to the traffic light I mentioned above. Turn right there since you are coming from the opposite direction.

As it sounds you are not familiar with the area, you might like to know that there are other warbirds in the area. For example after you are done viewing the CF-100, you can find a Canadair Sabre very close by. Go back to the traffic light on old highway 2 mentioned above and cross the intersection to the other side of RMC. Bear right into RMC (left goes to the old fort). Travel through the campus (no guards) towards the river (you sort of travel over a hill) and you will find a poll mounted Sabre.

After you are done looking at the Sabre, head back to that traffic light again. Turn right (east) and travel back up the hill, go past the intersection with the traffic lights. Turn left into the main CFB Kingston entrance. Now from hear I can't quite remember the detailed directions, but look for some buildings off in the distance to your right (east). Around there you will find a rather dramatically pole mounted CF-5 (mounted on the engine mounts). Very close by is a Kiowa that is also poll mounted.

Now if you think you are done... you are wrong! Assuming you still have some time head over to the airport on the west side of town. I will not give you directions here, follow the airport signs or get your hands on a map. The RCAFA at the airport has a pole mounted Harvard, which is actually a weather vane. The Harvard is on a pivot point at the top of the pole. When the wind comes up the Harvard turns into the wind.

If you are on an extended road trip there are other warbirds in the general area. For example you will find Golden Hawk Sabres on the Brockville, Belleville and Trenton waterfronts. There is an interesting guy in Picton (you can take the ferry which is west of Kingston making for a scenic drive) who has a CT-133 and a Musketeer on his lawn. We all have our hobbies afterall. There is the small but interesting museum in Campbleford, and of course the RCAF Memorial Museum in Trenton with the Halifax.

Hope this helps.

If you need any more info just let me know.
