I think I've fallen in love with that aircraft. Of all the warbird restoration efforts, being aware of Glacier Girl's uncompromising originality, exacting finish, and 'type' rarity puts her heads above the rest IMO. There's something about that perfect magic of knowing you could literally fly a particular warbird through a time warp back to WWII and have the local ground crews there not raise one question about the configuration of the airframe.
It will be one lucky pilot who may ever get the chance to take that plane on a European tour! I can just imagine donning some general issue WWII flight gear and taking her for a spin along the Channel coast :) Aaah, for just one moment to entertain the suspension of disbelief!
