Report From First General Meeting of the WIX Ottawa Chapter

OK, so there is only one member in the Ottawa Chapter... me. But seeing how a fellow WIX participant from Hamilton was in town, Steve Tournay, we convened a meeting last evening. The agenda was simple. Exchange warbird pictures, stories and bull. Had a great time!

Which brings me to my question regarding the next WIX "gathering" in Ottawa. I believe Eric and Olivier had expressed some interest for early June. Is there anyone else interested? Apparently the Ottawa Air Show is supposed to be returning to the Carp airport (as opposed to the MacDonald-Cartier A.P.) on August 22 to 24. Still trying to confirm that date as the website does not appear to be active. Would anyone be interested in a gathering then? Being the self appointed president of the WIX Ottawa Chapter I could assign the social committee (me) and the secretary (me) to organize a gathering at the show if there is some interest.
