Indeed great pictures! The captions keep referring to the Bearcat as "new". Am I wrong or is this not Tom Friedkin's F8F which has been around for many years? Also, I did notice this aircraft was in single seat configuration. Did it not used to be a dual seater from the days when it was owned by "Bubba" Beal? I did not see the TF-51 as the Friedkin hangar was closed on Saturday while I was there. I assume this is the Friedkin airplane which was damaged a couple of years ago?
