The answer to "why another P-40C"

In the La Fana article, Stephen Grey says the early Allison engine of the P-40B and C are 'hand grenades', which means not very reliable. And Stephen wants to fly its planes. He had no spare engine for its first P-40B, and it was also too good an opporrtunity to sell it at that time. With the 'new' P-40C comes two engines and two props, which is much better for the futur operation of the plane.
