Well from what I understand NPA is for North Point Aero, or aviation, warbird classics, based in North Carolina I believe? I only helped unload the airframe into a hanger and did not look into it in detail. The only thing I can say is to the hap hazard way they put the parts on the trailer,i.e. not much in the way of cushioning between parts ect.. & the way tie down straps were put over metal,i.e. parts of the airframe were bent up. Sad shame no matter what level of rebuild. The rear fuselage and center section were riveted togther which is understandable with the many different
components. As for the other projects the ex-Pardue is being worked on the most with the rear fuselage being the most completed, the front part where it was ripped apart, the shhetmetal is done with work now being done to the rear part that sustained damage. The wings are coming along nicely many new leading edge ribs are being reinstalled and /or repaired. As for a completion date none has been projected.Howard is taking the Bearcat to slaton,Tx., because the wildcat is in annual.
