Ho ho, now you're talking!

1)'S' series racers, mostly for the leaps and bounds in which aircraft speeds came along in their times and how they all helped in this cause by being consistently competitive.

3)Gee Bee, wicked looking and handling little bugger but equally important for it's time.

2)Percival Mew Gull, simply the most beautiful racer of all time and stunning to watch it's aborted landing and subsequent acceleration at Legends last year, amazing little machine and an equally small engine.

3)He 100, beautiful, gracefull fighter which was (luckily for us) never put into service and which I think pushed the German side of aircraft design forward.

4)Me 209, wickedly fast, almost in-line gee bee esque, little blighter. After reading of Wendel's troubles into trying to beat the record of the Heinkel He 100 I'm surprised he ever finished.

5)Caudron's pre-war racers, after watching the C-714 replica flying at Legends a few years ago I was somewhat taken aback with this little beauty's sprightliness and made me research more, the light-blue racer looked stunning from what I've seen.
