Rob, WHAT are you talking about, and how much is fact and how much is your own conjecture?

1) Most of the operations I've seen have all kinds of members in their 20's in 30's - especially when we're talking volunteers - (and this includes the National Aeronautical Collection in Ottawa, Canada for example). Where do you suppose the name "the Chino Kids" came from?

2) The cooperation that I get (and I hope, GIVE) from everyone else in this business, including ALOT OF PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD, is just fabulous - certainly far better than in the general/civil aviation scene as a whole, and I'd be dead in the water without the selfless help of alot of these very fine people. Just yesterday I had a guy I'd never even met before (and probably never will) send me a bunch of badly needed inspection information - GRATIS, and I'm still trying to figure out who left me the big box full of old instruments...

Most everything in this racket costs ALOT of money, and people shouldn't be asked or expected to give freely of their expertise, their stuff/parts/junk, or their time, but MANY, MANY, MANY of them do and will.

I think your comments are inappropriate.

(Awaiting the incoming fire...)

PS: I'm not rich, and your spell-checker program appears to be broken.
