Most of the museum's I belong to have a great number of young (20-30 year old) volunteers. I have to say this age group is also busy trying to make a future for themselves. As well, most of the museums, organizations and individual collectors I know often exchange information and parts to help each other out. Some private owners keep to them selves and are private about their assets but for the most part I think they are very open and let people into their facilities.
