Siggi Knoll is restoring these engines statical for museums. He has also built up the DB 605
for the Bf 109 G-2 at Laatzen. The original DB from this airframe was used to build up the DB
605 for the rebuilt HA 1109 (Bf 109 G-2) at the Luftwaffenmuseum.
