The airport in Merida, Yucatan, had some T-28s in years past. Several people who tried to negotiate deals to get those airplanes out, got badly burned. One of those cases, turned out to be the three T-28 junk baskets I almost bought in 2001 near San Antonio. The guy says he paid for good airplanes, and upon delivery, he had nothing but junk.
