I just had a thought that it might may be wouldn't be costefficient to run a water pump on a V12 aeroplane engine? It would consume a lot of fuel and oil and making a very load and enjoyable noice for us on this board. Wouldn't it be probable that the gearing would have had to be changed to since the engine tend to work at quite high revs?
So what exampples do we know of aeroplane engines that have been used for other tasks? I think I remember that someone used aviation engines to power a saw at a sawmill, some other examples?

: This engine is a straight 6(?) out of a ground vehicle.
: There's no way it's a v-12.
