I flew back to Baghdad International this afternoon. I don't have the ability to post the pictures I took, due to my present location. If somebody would like to post a couple of them for all to see, drop me an email.
I didn't see any military aircraft at all. Anything that was on display has either been destroyed or moved. On the other hand, I didn't see any wreckage of anything interesting. The Twin Pioneer is not in very good shape and had no markings of any kind, inside or outside. I doesn't look like it was even touched by the fighting. There is also an IL-76, 737, 747 and five or six 727's that had belonged to Iraqi Air. They haven't been damaged by the bombing, but have been pretty well stripped. There is also another 727 that was destroyed by a tank shell, it is sitting over by the Twin Pioneer. I have registration numbers of the airliners if anybody wants them. There was a few other wrecks laying around the military side of the airport, but nothing too shocking. No Hunters, Sea Furies or Migs yet. I will continue the search whenever time allows.
