Sorry to break some bad/good news.... N-6699K is a cat, but of the AG-Cat variety. The x-Barnett machine, what was left after the crash, went to Charles Nichols. This was combined with Eric Mingledorff's FM-2 (Bn 86711) which Nichols had bought. The FM-2 was restored, then later traded to Stephen Grey's Fighter Collection.. The title was floating around and later acquired by Bruce Roberts for his FM-1 & FM-2 projects. It has been a very long time since I have spoken with Bruce, so I do not know what progress he has made. Hope this clears up the Wildcat picture for you.
