Tony Jarvis knows more about it than anyone. He was there just a few days before I was. His email's attached to his file in the Gallery. VERY little corrosion (that's a fresh water lake behind it) although the nose has been torched. Apparently some locals decided in the eighties or so to see if it would burn. The real tragedy is when you see the original acident pictures - it could have been repaired and flown out. Tony has those pics, by the way and I'm sure he'd be happy to send them on to Scott.

Wanna see a C-46 in similiar condition? :-)
