We covered this in some detail, it's somewhere in the archives.

I found other pictures of the A-26, which looks like an On-Mark version (Though it might not be) . Pictures taken at ground level, showing various bits missing, and a very tired airframe. The aircraft to the left were both civil, and were available for sale at the time.
