I have just been told that the Maryland Air Guard T-6 is actually not based at Frederick, but either at the Glen L. Martin field, Baltimore, or perhaps at Belle Aire, which is near Baltimore too. The aircraft is owned by a chap whose name is something like Andy Mahelick (last name spelling is best guess only!). There are also supposed to be two T-6's based at Manassas, Va, which is about 20miles south of DC, along I-66. When you are at NASM ask for a guy named Brian Nichols, he apparently did some air-to-air work with them, and should know how to contact them. Say Hi to Dan Hagedorn for me when you are there, he's a great guy!
Cheers,
Richard
PS. There is quite a nice little museum at Glen L. Martin Field... you should check it out.
