Gee... I thought they were all a little dark for my taste.

I agree the monitor can have a poor colour balance, and you might not know it. I worked in the last TV manufacturing plant in Canada, so I know something on the topic. Is there any equipment the average person can get to test their monitor? I doubt self tests (if they exist) can really help.

I agree the lower the film speed the better, however light conditions when shooting really decide which file gets used.

Also I thought of it after scanning, but I should have one of those puffers used for cleaning cameras sitting beside my scanner. Dust is bad.
