Bearcat for Thailand

A friend of mine just showed me a copy of the latest Northrop-Grumman newsletter. The F8F-1 Bearcat that has been restored at the Grumman facility in New York has been completed and the plane is now being shipped to Thailand where it will be test flown by an American pilot (can't remember his name but I think he's either CAF or LSFM). Too bad no one in the US will see it fly. It is planned that it will be displayed at a big airshow in Thailand this summer.
