A-26 at Ocean City, NJ airport, 1960s

In the mid to late 1960s my parents took the family on summer vacations to Ocean City, NJ. I remember an A-26 Invader sitting in the open at the airport there (Ocean City Municipal Airport). It was wearing a dark blue paint scheme, with yellow highlights on the nacelles, tapering to a point. Something like that. It was in pretty good shape in the late 60s, although some plexiglass had been broken by the time of my last visit. I remember peering through the windows and marveling at the equipment inside.

All these years later, I wonder if any experts can tell me what became of that Invader. Sorry, no serial no/bureau no for you to go on. For all I know, it is still there, but that's doubtful, given the ravages of salt air and vandals. I haven't been to Ocean City in over 30 years.

Thanks.
