Hi,
The deeper the wreck the less damage from wave action, less chance of trawl and less oxygen in the water for corrosion.
The general temp of the Channel and the shallower parts of the North Sea is similar.
If you look at the southern part of the North Sea off East Anglia/Norfolk then the biggest problem is sand waves that gradually cover and uncover the positions.
Yorkshire fares better with deeper water and more solid bottom conditions.
