I see the Heritage Lottery Fund are funding the restoration of a Tiger tank to ground running condition, but still will not pay for anything to be returned to flight conditions :{
Does anybody know how much Engine and Forward fuselage of the BoB Hurricane at Brenzett Aeronautical Musuem exists?
Ditto. The 'substantial remains' of Bf109E Werknr 3272 of 3/JG26 at the Lashenden Air Warfare Museum..
Sounds like possible candidate machines for dataplate jobs there......
Also, how much of the 3 Napier Sabre engines at Musuem of D-Day Aviation is there are these crash recoveries or is there maybe 1 or 2 that could be rebuilt given a 'suitable swap' job???
