: I agree entirely!! The items were scrapped whilst I was still involved at the museum. A lot of stuff went - including a 109 F tail section, He 177 u/c leg, engines, propellers etc. One day someone decided unilaterally that all this "scrap" at the rear of the museum was an eyesore and sold it to the local dodgy scrap man from the gypsy caravan site. And that, as they say, was that! Just goes to show what can happen when people who dont know, understand or appreciate what they have got are put in charge of such things. It was a tragedy. The Typhoon centre section was complete and in vgc and with one u/c leg attd. What a waste! Andy Saunders.
