Sorry Peter,
The aircraft aren't shown on the piicie. I was reading a historical narrative of when the USAAF had to abandon Thelepte airfield in 1943.
I'll check the co-ords again, and upload another image , if I can get access to the server today.
From that image, there are only 2 or 3 "flat areas in the hills/mountains, it was more to illustrate the terrain..
