Eric, Thanks for the time you took in printing that up. I remember reading and rereading that so much as a kid, that it all came back as I reread and printed it off. The "action" and bravado of those pilots had a lot to do with convincing me that that was what I wanted to do. Though I have not freeied Corsairs yet, all Ferry Tales are just about the same as this one. No good place to put down, and all or nothing based on you and the crews wrenches. Hopefully I will get the call when its time to ferry the 10 or so AD's out of Vietnam to ? for containering to the USA. What a flight that would be!
