Several. When I was in the first grade, living in a small town in Georgia, one summer day a plane buzzed our house several times. My Mom went out to await the next one, and here came an A-26. He saw us in the yard, and wagged his wings, and my Mom waved at him. My Mom said that it must be my uncle (my Dad's brother), so we drove to the airport (Bush Field) which was nearby, and it was my uncle! He even let me go in the cockpit. He was on a cross country of some sort, and decided to drop in for a short visit.

In the late 50s, an airshow at the old Hennsley Field near Dallas. The Fornofs were there in their Bearcats, Blue Angels were flying F-11s (I think), and flights of the F7Us and F8Us. The Fornofs seemed fearless with their performance. Those Bearcats were screaming!

Another show at same field, this time a model plane championship. But what was interesting was my Dad took me across the runways to a field south of the Vought factory where a large number of Navy WWII aircraft had been left to rot in the weeds. It was a strange experience walking around all those old warbirds.

Lastly, Breckenridge 1987. I believe that is the year that had maybe 18 B-25s, 3 Wildcats, Mosquito, lots of Corsairs, Invaders, and on and on.
