If you think about it, they are everywhere! Even the Soviets and the Japanese had their own versions of the C-47. The remarkable thing is that they are still flying in a number of airforces even today, look at the Bassler turbo-prop versions serving in a surveillance role in Columbia. To be honest, I can't think of a nation that didn't at some time have a C-47 on its airforce/government books. ...good question Paul.
