Hurricane Spinners

I was looking at a photo of a recently restored Hurricane and thought the spinner looked slightly smaller and more pointed than what I was used to seeing. I did a little web surfing and found several illustrations that showed a spinner that was more pointed than I seem to remember and now I'm curious as to how much variation there was(if any) on Hurricane spinners.
