I too visited Dx on Tuesday and was knocked out by the B24. What was really fascinating was the graffiti still visible in the polished skin - presumably the result of years of external display at Lackland. Wonder what they'll now do with the D model nose in Hangar 5. As somebody else has said - although there's more in the AAM it actually seems less full - and I've never particularly been a fan of the place - having said that where else can you see an A10 Thunderbolt II "flying" over a P47 Thunderbolt
Also in hangar 5, just starting it's refurb was an F105 Thud and the CASA 2.111 seems to have moved up from the M11 end to near hangar 4/5 - next in perhaps??. The Swordfish is also back on it's way (is that pale green interior primer right???)and the Anson looks good at it's silver dopr stage.
Oh yes - and TFC seemed to be shifting Mossie nacelles around - a precursor to something or just that the needed to get to something stored behind them............
