OK guys, the F-4 is definately going to fly this weekend. She's in Houston so I think only a few of you guys would be able to see her if you are interested. It will be at Ellington Field but I'm not sure whether it will be Saturday or Sunday. I can however confirm that we will be doing engine runs tomorrow afternoon as well as a fast taxi test with chute deploy.
Also, the question was asked earlier as to which B-25 we had down here. We are part of the Collings Foundation so she is the former "Hoosier Honey" that is now in the paint of "Tondelayo". We also have a T-33, N648, 51-6953 that was formerly owned by Junior Burchinall. Our UH-1E Huey, is a document VMO-2 and VMO-6 Vietnam veteran. We also have a S-2 Tracker that I can't remember the N number or Bureau number for but she is nearing flight as well. In Tuscon, AZ we have our TA-4J Skyhawk, N524CF, 153524, that is about to start restoration to fly and she will come to Houston eventually as well. Along with our stuff at Ellington, there are 4 Mig-21s, an L-39, L-29, Mig-17, 2 Stearmans, and an O-2. Its a fairly busy warbird place that most people don't see because they are all in individual t-hangers.
For any people in Houston, stop by sometime and check things out. We need any volunteer interested.
Ryan
