After a year and two month down time repairing ALL issues, large and small, with the aircraft, the F-4 is almost ready to fly again and return to the airshow circuit. Next weekend appears to be the time. The airplane is checking out great in all areas and there are virtually no squaks to deal with except for a flap indication issue that is being worked on now. For all you US jet junkies, the baddest jet warbird is about to hit the circuit again. The schedule is being built right now so be on the look out for the green monster.
Just thought yall would like to know.
Oh and BTW, she is based at Ellington Field, Houston, TX in the large T-hangers that the city rents. Our S-2, T-33, UH-1E, and B-25 are there as well and the B-25s tail is sticking out of one of them.
