A number of years ago as a coworker gave me a picture that someone had taken of "some old airplane". It was a shot of a parked aircraft taken by someone standing on the groud, and was a close-up of the cockpit area and leading edge of the wing root. After flipping through my aircraft encyclopedia I was able to identify the type as a Fairey Barracuda. There was also a name painted just forward of the cockpit, but the contrast of the old black & white makes it difficult to read. I think it may be "Bauhanalian Blonde". Does anyone know where I can start to find the ID of the airframe?
