You couldn't be more correct. I could almost feel the dissapointment when they had uncovered the engines and landing gear but found no fuselage. And for that they had traveled to one of the most remote places in the world.

But it was a very interesting documentary which ended too soon for my taste. The escape hatch lying in the sand looked as if it had been thrown there a few days before instead of fifty years.

Speaking of the Lady Be Good, if you look at the photo's taken when she just had been found and compare them to the photo's I saw recently then that would make you weep looking at the almost total destruction. Then it was a complete airframe in two parts, now it is just another wreck with the chances of restoration very slim.
