You really are a bloodthirsty chap aren't you?
I can imagine myself taking off in my speedy little Spitfire and heading for Beachy Head to intercept the 20+ Heinkels escorted by Messy Schmitts angels one five on a western heading towards London. Suddenly I see a solitary figure sitting in a deckchair with a coolbox full of beer on the white cliffs of Dover, and jumping up and down with excitement. That would be you I guess then.
I would do it a bit less hectic.

I would be present to witness the first flight of the new protoype Halifax taking off, and thinking what a magnificent aircraft that would make.
