The Merlin 25 & 113/114 were both fitted to different marks of Mosquito. I see no reason why the header tank should be different. For most Merlin installations the header tank is at the front & is connected to the cylinder blocks via adaptors which generally do not change position. Of course the Hurricane is different, the header tank is at the rear. When Spitfire VIII I-SPIT was rebuilt it had the normal header tank fitted but the engine was a 113 from a Mosquito.
