I'd sit in it but I don't know about floating in it though ;-) My mate Frank worked on her in his time working for Dick and managed to paint the inside a nice shade of crimson with the assistance of his finger and a not quite so handy fan on a hot day at Micheldever, shouldn't it be interior green? ;-) Dick had new longerons and spars made when he rebuilt and copied the parts from the AWM example so the basis of a project is all there but it's a big jigsaw puzzle which would still cost lots to get into any shape at all let alone flyable and look at the enthusiasm shown for the Sunderland when she was for sale, unless its a Catalina or any other Yank amphibian it seems that no one but Kermit wants to know, if it wasn't for him I wonder just what would've happened to the old Sunderland, I think it would've been another story a lot like the VLS one doing the rounds at the mo.
Tom ;)
