I've never been to Oshkosh so I don't know the hangar in question, but I guess it's probably quite an impressive building. This may not be a good thing for the Mosquito...

When the RAF sold off its last few Mosquitos c 1962, it kept one in flying condition. It was seen at only a few displays for a short time. As I heard it only one time, this has to be put into the 'rumour' class, but I heard that the Mosquito was wrecked when it was kept stored in a heated hangar for one winter and the wood dried out.
