There has been an enormous rise in the number of warbird jets for one - as an example the RCAF surplussed 30+ T-33s, and new types have come onto the market.

Additionally, a lot of original research has had to be done to increase the amount of published information previously available.

The sheer amount of work neccessary was underestimated by myself.
