Currently researching the history of this aircraft while serving in Canada. Managed to find a a/c history card for it and I need help finding what the 2 bottom terms mean??
USAF Aircraft Card:
Funds: F-1
A.C. Order No.: W-535-ac-15802
Branch: RA
Status: S
Manufacturer: Curtis
Model: P-40e
Cost: $39,628
Serial No.: 41-5386
Date Recieved: November 7, 1941
Transferred to Project X - (Southwest Pacific)
Repossessed by British: January 15, 1942
( given # AK915 by RAF then #1055 by RCAF )
picked up in error as DAAC January 15, 1942.
Should be XYZ March 15, 1942
Does anyone have any clues as to what:
1) DAAC means????
2) Branch: RA means
Thanks Lee
