: Does anyone have any contacts in the historical or archive
: section of the RAF museum. I am trying to track down som

: RAF museum tell me that they were sent back to BAe. BAe
: are quite insistent that they do not have them anymore.
: The lady that I spoke to at the RAF museum was very friend

: that interested in searching due to the time it would take

: On the same subject I was informed that it could well be p
: ossible that the museum does have the drawings but not kno
: w because they have a storage facility that has yet to be
: cataloged. Does anyone know if this is true?

: Thanks for the help

If it's Lancaster drgs you're after, don't forget that BAe re-sparred PA474's wing, so it is conceivable that drgs were sent back to BAe. I was very pleased to hear recently that BAe maintain a very large archive, to which access sometimes seems to be granted, at Farnborough. Let's hope that their current financial problems don't cause any problems for the archive!
