It is the vertical spar piece that has a different hole pattern. Also the HARVARD center section has an added angle on the center section end rib, It runs right about where the lowest bolt goes on the AMERCAN spar.The HARVARD wing is cut-out for this,hence the different bolt pattern. There are alot of AMERICAN airplane flying around with harvard wings or center sections. Some with one of each.Though I have heard people who have flown complete AMERICAN T-6's and the a hybrid US/CANADA. That they just dont feel of fly right.
This is not a legal mod to a standard catagory aircraft. Well not without a field approval.And good luck telling a FAA guy you need to rout out the spar a bit through half a bolt hole.
