Just out of idle curiosity, has anyone located this Mustangs remains. I know it flew on into 1945 and went down with another pilot. Has anyone located the crash? or bothered to look for it? I found a reference in an old magazine I have to the recovery of his brother's aircraft. There obviously wasn't much left. The seat, a rudder peddal, stick grip...but significant nonetheless. Certainly would make for some historic bits.
