I think the movie was shot in 78. We used 2 Corsairs. The -4 that is now owned by Chapman in Idaho and the -7 that Courtesy Aircraft is selling now. A guy named Tom Mooney was flying the -4 I was in the -7. the B-17 was from Burchinal and a lot of the movie was filmed at Indian Dunes or Vela La Cava as The Blacksheep called it. It is north of Van Nuys Calif in the hills. This airstrip and filming location isn't there anymore.
