Well, it was blimmin interesting. I even went to the (severly moderated) chat on the BBC website afterwards. It was difficult to talk, it's almost like the BBC had put on an extra e-Bouncer on the door,as if they expected the likes of me and Mick the merciless to turn up :0)
Anyway, Dan Criuckshank said, he has permission from the BBC to film another architecture series, and he wants to concentrate on Military buildings. So, he's looking for ideas. Now, as he is a leading authority on classical architecture, I felt that the Neo-Georgian look and feel of the expansion period RAF airfields, would be right up his strasse. I mean, for chri*ts sake, T2 hangars get him hot, and he was gushing about Cranwells buildings. For our American cousins, who don't know what Neo-Georgian means, it means "Class in abundance" or Old Virginia.
So, you can e-mail him, cos we are not going to be using the poxy official BBC link are we? No. so here's his e-mail addy at his day job......

He had a lot of co-operation from MOD on this last series, and they are keen for him to do another one, so.... if you can point out another threatened airfield site, that is in danger of having a housing estate thrown up on it over a weekend, then that would be good....
and Damien, under the "Midlanders looking out 4 each other" act, I expect my usual cut, when they make u Technical director :0)
