Tim,
IIRC the first batch of Canadian built Lancaster X's were fitted with the FN50 turret. Later batches were fitted with the American built Martin turret.
The original Mynarski Lanc had a FN50 turret fitted while FM213 being a later built example (but representing the Mynarski Lanc) had the martin turret, which was also mounted further forward to restore the c.o.g.. That's why the later Mk X's looks so odd compare to the British built ones.
